Introduction: The increasing incidence of brain tumors poses significant challenges to the healthcare system, demanding effective and broadly accessible preventive actions. Primary Health Care (PHC), as the entry point of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), plays a strategic role in health promotion, public education, and health surveillance. Objective: To reflect on the role of Primary Health Care in the prevention of brain cancer, with an emphasis on the use of educational strategies. Methods: This is a theoretical and reflective study based on national and international publications on the topic. Results: Evidence highlights the importance of accessible educational strategies to raise public awareness, strengthen health surveillance, and integrate preventive actions into PHC services. In this context, PHC is essential for building a continuous, comprehensive, and humanized care network. Conclusion: The implementation of educational technologies within PHC can expand the reach of brain cancer prevention efforts, promote greater equity in access to care, and contribute to reducing health inequities.
