The dynamic security environment in the Indo-Pacific highlights the need for improved interoperability between the RAAF and TNI AU. Despite ongoing joint exercises, challenges such as language barriers, technological gaps, and differing priorities persist. This study uses qualitative analysis through case studies, literature review, and operational data, applying SWOT analysis to assess joint activities. Key issues identified include procedural misalignments, cultural differences, and communication system incompatibilities. Addressing these barriers through language training, standardized communication protocols, and aligned strategic goals is crucial for operational synergy. The study proposes actionable strategies, including a unified operational framework and expanded joint training, to enhance interoperability, strengthen bilateral ties, and contribute to regional stability in the Indo-Pacific.
