Background and Study Aim: The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the reciprocal method in develop-ing volleyball skills among tenth grade students with hearing disabilities in Palestine.Material and Methods: The researchers followed the experimental research method with an experimental designfor two equivalent groups (control and experimental) with the pre- and post-application of the volleyball skillstest. The research community consisted of all tenth grade students at Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafei Secondary Schoolfor the Deaf, numbering 24 students. The students were divided into two groups: a control group, totalling 12 stu-dents, and an experimental group, counting 12 students. The study was carried out, in the second semester of the2022/2023 academic year.Results: The experimental group showed statistically significant improvement at a significance level of α≤0.05 be-tween the average scores of tenth grade students with hearing disabilities in the two groups (experimental, con-trol) with regard to the post-application of the cognitive aspect test of volleyball skills. Also demonstrated were sta-tistically significant differences at a significance level of ≤0.05 between the average scores for tenth grade studentswith hearing disabilities in the two groups (experimental, control) in the post-application of the observation cardfor volleyball skills in favour of the students from the experimental group.Conclusions: The reciprocal method significantly contributed to increasing the achievement of volleyball skills,and the reciprocal method is suitable for teaching hearing-impaired students. Furthermore, hearing-impaired stu-dents can respond to their teacher if teaching methods change. Also, the value of Eta square (2η) is greater than thevalue of 0.14 for the total score in all areas of the cognitive test of volleyball skills, which indicates a high effect size.
