A pedagogical practice called “Psychological and pedagogical technologies in teaching and developmental activities (psychological and pedagogical module)" is new for modern pedagogical universities. Its introduction is connected with the introduction of the provisions of the normative document “The core of higher pedagogical education" into the educational process of pedagogical universities. This type of teaching practice in the new conditions provides for a demonstration exam for students of a pedagogical university. The article reveals the concept of a demonstration exam in teaching practice for pedagogical university students as a new format of intermediate certification of knowledge and formed skills of students in the aspect of the application of psychological and pedagogical technologies in professional activities, as well as the design of an extracurricular activity in accordance with the requirements. The author draws attention to the purpose and objectives of the considered type of teaching practice, reveals the tasks that students need to complete, describes the stages of the demonstration exam in this type of teaching practice (preparation, main stage and conclusion) each of which has its own features and expresses the essence of the innovation under consideration.
