The article examines the topic of the formation of a long-term care system in Russia. The long-term care package is a set of social services for the elderly and individuals who require outside assistance. Similar programs are implemented within the framework of the national project “Family”. In Russia, regulatory legal acts have been adopted and funding has been established for all regions in order to ensure organizational measures for accessible and high-quality care focused on the individual. The author examines the main directions of state regulation of long-term care and identifies the main current problems.
