The need for a new view of labor relations is due to the consequences of the development of the labor market, issues of transformation of the structure of labor legal relations, which are dictated by scientific and technological progress and the laws of market action. In addition, the implementation of mechanisms for digitalization of labor relations and the development of atypical forms of employment of the population is moving to a new level. Therefore, trade unions, as guarantors of the social and labor rights of workers, are given new tasks, and the article is devoted to the peculiarities of trade unions protecting the rights of certain categories of workers in the new conditions.
