The paper presents a theoretical foundation of the pedagogical support system for the professional development of the director’s advisor on upbringing and interaction with children’s public associations. The regulatory framework of this activity has been analyzed, professional deficits of specialists have been examined, and key competencies necessary for the effective performance of functional duties have been identified. A multi-level model of pedagogical support is proposed, including organizational-methodical, content-related, and reflexive-evaluative components. The necessity of creating professional communities of advisors as a platform for experience exchange and professional growth is substantiated.
