Etiquette in social interactions plays a crucial role in shaping a morally upright generation and fostering a harmonious environment. However, issues persist regarding the understanding and practice of these etiquettes within society. Despite the teachings of Islamic social etiquette principles, studies indicate that comprehension remains weak, and their application is not comprehensive. Technological advancements and the use of social media contribute to this problem, leading to an increase in harsh communication, cyberbullying, and interactions that are not grounded in Islamic values. This paper discusses ethical principles such as trustworthiness, honesty, dignity, and manners in social interactions, especially between men and women, as outlined by Imam al-Shafi‘i. The study employs a qualitative approach, referencing the primary works of Imam al-Shafi‘i and related previous studies. Findings suggest that Islamic social etiquette is deeply rooted in high moral standards, and Imam al-Shafi‘i's thoughts offer practical guidance that remains relevant in contemporary contexts. This presentation aims to contribute towards strengthening Islamic moral values in the daily lives of the younger generation.
