Mid-wave infrared imaging is gaining prominence across various fields, including industrial inspection, environmental monitoring, and medical diagnosis. This study aims to develop a high-performance imaging optical system tailored for mid-wave infrared cooled detectors. The system is designed to meet key requirements such as high resolution, excellent temperature adaptability, and high transmittance. Utilizing ZEMAX for optimization, the results demonstrate that the system achieves exceptional imaging quality within the 3μm to 5μm spectral range. The athermal design ensures stable performance between -40°C and 60°C. Specifically, the system's MTF@42lp/mm exceeds the target of 0.3, with a transmittance of 72.4% and distortion controlled within 1.3%. All indicators surpass the predetermined design standards. Additionally, rigorous tolerance analysis confirms the design's feasibility for actual manufacturing, providing robust technical support for applications in industrial inspection and other fields.
