As one of the core components of near-eye display devices and portable display equipment, the micro-projection optical system aligns with current market demands through development trends such as structural miniaturization and high imaging quality. Compared with projection optical systems based on traditional displays such as Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) displays and Digital Light Processing (DLP) displays, the Micro-LED based projection optical system features a significantly simplified structure, compact size, and lightweight design. This paper presents a five element aspherical composite projection lens design based on an existing 0.54-inch Micro-LED display chip. The full field modulation transfer function (MTF) at 50 lp/mm exceeds 0.7, with the central field exceeding 0.84, achieving a distortion of 2.48% and excellent imaging quality. The measured system energy utilization rate reaches 30%.
