The role and place of the engineering system in the conditions of innovative development and modernization of the agroindustrial complex is substantiated. The state of the engineering and technical system (ITS) of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) is considered; a strategy for maintaining agricultural machinery (agricultural machinery) in working condition and a system for assessing the operational properties of the main reliability indicators of agricultural machinery are proposed; promising directions for the development of a strategy for maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery are developed; the technologies and reliability indicators of agricultural machines are presented; modern methods of diagnosing parts and assemblies of agricultural machinery using digital intelligent technologies are recommended; a hardware and software platform for collecting and processing operational data of agricultural machinery is presented; methodological guidelines for determining the boundaries of operation and disposal of agricultural machinery decommissioned are given; an analysis of the use of secondary resources of recycled agricultural machinery is given; the creation of workshops is justified (sites) for the disposal of machinery within the framework of repair enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, as well as sites for the restoration of parts; the possibilities of using CALS technologies (IPI — information support for product lifecycle processes) in the formation of a system for the disposal of machinery in the agro-industrial complex are presented; an automated interactive 3D system for measuring control of parts during the repair of automotive engines is proposed; methods of improving the system of technical service of agricultural machinery are proposed; recommendations for improving and modernizing ITS are given; issues of import substitution of repair and technological equipment during the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery are considered.
