This article provides a concise overview of the legal foundations and European framework for the digitalization of Polish administration, highlighting the need for compliance with eIDAS, GDPR, and NIS2. It identifies three main challenges: data security, cyberthreats, and digital exclusion. The authors emphasize the potential of AI, blockchain, and e-democracy tools, while also emphasizing the need for algorithm transparency and inclusive service design. The conclusion includes recommendations: training of officials, certification of algorithms, uniform accessibility standards, and maintaining alternative channels for serving citizens.
