The following methods were used during the study: source studies, complex historical studies, and cultural studies. Conclusions. The activity of the Kyiv ten-year Music School of the 1950s and 1960s played a significant role not only in that period but also in the further development of Ukrainian piano art. The institution united outstanding figures of Ukrainian piano art, in which they showed their pedagogical abilities in working with highly gifted students, and these students, having absorbed and systematized their skills, became the successors of their teachers, confirming the high professional status of the institution in their future creative life. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using the materials of this article in the courses of Ukrainian piano art, and expanding scientific achievements devoted to the history of Kyiv State Music Lyceum named after M.
