Abstract Celecoxib (CLC) is at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation, essential for managing diseases through its regulation of prostaglandin levels. The increasing demand for CLC highlights its clinical importance, particularly for its anti‐inflammatory properties and emerging role in cancer, COVID‐19, tissue repair, and regenerative medicine. This review examines the latest advancements in CLC research, including improved therapeutic efficacy, synthesis methods, morphological modifications, and strategies to enhance bioavailability using nanotechnological protocols. It also covers pharmacological breakthroughs, the development of CLC‐based prodrugs, and the use of nanocarriers, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and polymers to optimize drug delivery. The formation of CLC‐based fluorescent probes for the detection and real‐time imaging of the COX‐2 enzyme and monitoring of CLC in biological fluids are successful breakthroughs. These innovations highlight CLC's versatility and pivotal role in modern pharmaceutical research, showcasing its potential to inspire future scientific developments.
