Currently, nanotechnology is one of the most promising areas of science and technology. One of the main advantages of nanomaterials is that in the nanoscale state, substances obtain new antibacterial properties and can be used in medicine to fight infections. However, despite all the benefits of nanotechnology, there are concerns about its impact on the environment. This article deals with the development of nanomodified textile materials for special purpose clothing using colloidal solutions of silver nanoparticles. According to the results of the study of antibacterial properties of textile materials it was found that the effect persists for a long time. In this study, the fixation of silver particles on the fabric surface was carried out by plasma treatment, which did not lead to changes in the chemical composition and structural characteristics of the nanomodified textile materials. The surface of the textile materials was significantly activated after plasma treatment of the fabric, resulting in improved permeability of Ag nanoparticles. The results of infrared spectroscopy and microscopic studies of the surface of the samples showed no changes in the external structure of the material, which is an important factor in the design and manufacture of textile products, since their properties are preserved throughout the entire service life. The proposed method of creating nanomodified textile materials has the potential for application in various fields, including medicine, sportswear and military equipment, where antibacterial properties and odor reduction may be especially important. In addition, the use of such materials can reduce the number of necessary washes and, thus, reduce the negative impact on the environment and water consumption.
