The present paper deals with the utilization of sustainable healthcare system and variation of different types of ethno-medicinal plants used by the ethnic peoples. The many ethnic peoples like Bhumij, Munda, Vill, Cole etc maintain the healthcare system since long. These peoples collected plant parts for their curation. The data was documented by the interaction with the local old-aged peoples, traditional healers and other knowledgeable persons in this area of the Block. The ethnic peoples cured from the numerous diseases like cough and cold, diarrhoea, amoebic dysentery, abdominal pain, menstrual disorder, skin problems, fever, hair fall, eye irritation, diabetes, etc. The identification of the medicinal plants was done and listed by the ideal taxonomic method. Various types of medicinal plant parts and their traditional uses was also documented by the survey. The traditional knowledge of the ethnic peoples will help the peoples of the world in future.
