ABSTRACT This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the impact of key macroeconomic factors on entrepreneurship growth in South Asian countries from 2010 to 2023. Using a panel data analysis approach, the research method combines robust statistical techniques to evaluate the relationships between macroeconomic variables and entrepreneurship. It examines the influence of variables such as institutional quality (INSTQ), technological innovation (TECH), economic development, financial access, foreign direct investment, social capital, economic growth (ECOG), trade openness (TRD) and cultural values. The findings demonstrate that financial development and TECH exert the most significant and consistent positive influence on entrepreneurship growth. While the impact of INSTQ and social capital is nuanced, the study highlights their crucial roles in fostering a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. The research contributes novel insights into the interplay between these factors by offering an integrative perspective that bridges existing gaps in entrepreneurship literature. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers to design effective policies that enhance entrepreneurial activity, strengthen financial institutions, promote technological advancements and foster social capital to drive sustainable ECOG in the region.
