The urgency of reconstructing the learning methods of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on ecological perspectives arises from the essential nature of education itself, which is to facilitate students in constructing their knowledge and transforming the learning process into behavioral change. Therefore, the learning methods of Islamic Religious Education should aim to develop students' character to become more ecologically conscious and caring. The objective of this research is to analyze the efforts to reconstruct Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning methods based on ecological principles. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, documentation, and the compilation of information from various relevant sources. The data analysis process involves three key components: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the reconstruction of Islamic Religious Education learning methods based on ecological awareness is carried out through the following stages: (1) Constructing learning objectives, (2) Constructing students’ prior knowledge, (3) Constructing appropriate learning methods, (4) Constructing the learning process, and (5) Constructing a supportive learning environment.
