This article studies experimental validation methods properly modified and adapted to be used in automated maintenance processes. The prescriptive maintenance system involves data analytics to rigorously examine automated systems' reliability and efficiency. Due to an increase in the usage of automation in maintenance operations, this article presents a systematic framework that employs simulation models and field tests. A case study illustrates the application of the aforementioned techniques in an industrial setting, examining key performance measurements and the way they have been implemented. Found data indicates the fact that using these techniques in the proposed manner boosts the reliability and accuracy of the automated systems.
