This study is a literature study that aims to identify and analyze various strategies that can improve students learning motivation and learning responsibility. Motivation and responsibility are two important aspects in the learning process that are interrelated and influence the achievement of learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of several journals found that there are several approaches that can improve learning motivation, namely, group guidance (Role playing techniques, psychodrama), SFBT counseling, Group Counseling (positive reinforcement techniques, self-regulation techniques, modeling techniques). Meanwhile, to improve students learning responsibility, it can be done with a reality counseling approach, behavior, behavior contract, shaping.
