Human capital is closely linked to the demographic crisis. This is evident in the fact that the formation of labor potential is directly dependent on the reproduction of the population. The current socio-economic situation and the demographic crisis have a negative impact on the development of the labor potential of the subjects of the Russian Federation, which is why there is a need to find solutions to overcome the crisis and take effective measures to replenish the personnel shortage. The article is devoted to identifying the role of demographic trends in the development of human capital in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tatarstan.
