The digital revolution has significantly reshaped the academic landscape, especially in how students seek, access, and utilize information. This study explores the impact of digital resources on the information-seeking behavior of students in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Employing a mixed-methods approach that includes quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the research draws insights from a sample of 96 students across various universities (Mahida R. G., A Leading the Way: Sustainable Development and Economic Dynamics in Viksit Bharat@ 2047, 2024). Key objectives include assessing the extent of digital resource use, identifying influencing factors for format preference, analyzing usage challenges, and evaluating the role of library-based training programs. Findings reveal that students across academic levels exhibit a consistent inclination toward digital platforms. However, factors such as accessibility and convenience were not found to significantly influence format preferences (Mahida R. G., 2024). Additionally, the challenges faced by students do not vary significantly based on their digital literacy levels. The study also observed that current library-based digital literacy programs have limited impact on students’ confidence in evaluating online information. These insights emphasize the need for redesigned training modules, improved user-centered digital interfaces, and more targeted support strategies. The research contributes to enhancing library services in academic institutions and aligns them more closely with the evolving digital behaviors of modern learners (Mahida R. , 2024)
