The research aims to identify the theoretical and methodological problems of studying the peasant generation of the “revolutionary turning point” in the context of the agrarian history of Russia in the first third of the 20th century. The paper demonstrates the successful application of the theoretical provisions of generational history, using the research case “The Generation of the ‘Revolutionary Turning Point’ in the Fate of the Russian Village in the First Third of the 20th Century”, based on extensive analytical material. The scientific novelty consists in a specific research focus, allowing us to assess the applicability of historical-generational analysis in the study of the agrarian history of Russia in the first third of the 20th century. The research shows that the solution of theoretical and methodological problems in studying the role of the peasant generation of the “revolutionary turning point” in the fate of the Russian village is associated with the theoretical and methodological complex of generational history.
