The article focuses on the importance of nuclear chemistry, f-block elements, radioactivity, and ionizing radiation in chemistry education. The authors identified common misconceptions and emphasize the need for high-quality education in this field. Based on a literature review, a set of 20 teaching tasks was developed to help students understand key concepts of nuclear chemistry and apply critical thinking in problem-solving. The tasks are designed to support the comprehension of complex phenomena, data analysis, argumentation, and real-life connections. The pilot testing of these tasks confirmed that the targeted use of interactive methods contributes to a deeper understanding of the topic and positively influences students' attitudes towards chemistry.
