The article analyzes the current state, emerging trends, and future development directions of crowdfunding in Uzbekistan. Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving digital economy and active government reforms to improve the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem, crowdfunding is assessed as an alternative financing mechanism with latent potential for startups, social initiatives, and public-interest projects. Using qualitative content analysis of policy documents, industry reports, and recent legislative changes, the study identifies enabling conditions, structural gaps, and strategic priorities. Key findings include a growing institutional appetite for innovation financing, nascent regulatory alignment with digital platform governance, and the opportunity to leverage crowdfunding for inclusive development (including environmental and youth-led entrepreneurship). Barriers remain in legal clarity, public awareness, trust infrastructure, and ecosystem integration. The article concludes with policy and ecosystem recommendations to accelerate crowdfunding’s maturation in Uzbekistan.
