The paper discussed the significant roles of artistic activities, indicating the usefulness of art in treating mental related problems like anxiety, depression, and stress. An alternative therapeutic approach is highly needed in the world as the role of mental health issues continues to grow. Art, in one way or the other has long been accepted as a vehicle of expression, spirituality and healing. Formalized towards the beginning of the 20th century, art therapy combines artistic activity and psychological treatment, helping people deal with difficult emotions and offering them emotional stability. The thesis uses the benefit of both the qualitative and quantitative methods of research in its investigation along with the determination of the impact of visual arts, music, and performance arts on the mental health outcomes. The findings indicate that artistic practices have a huge potential in terms of alleviating anxiety and depression symptoms, improving the mood, self-expression, and developing social connectedness.
