The research method uses panel data regression analysis through several tests such as the Chow Test and the Hausman Test. The best model chosen is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Data processing techniques using panel data with the help of Eviews 10 software. Based on the results of the study, it is known that (1) GRDP per capita and HDI have a significant negative effect on poverty (2) Unemployment has no effect on poverty (3) Dependency ratio has a significant positive effect on poverty (4) During and after COVID-19, poverty in 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province was higher. The implications of the research show that improving regional welfare can be achieved through economic equality, strengthening the informal sector, improving education and living standards, as well as inclusive employment policies and social protection, especially in vulnerable areas.
