Analysis of Approaches to the Interpretation of Ornamental Motifs in Design in the Context of the Strategy of Cultural Development of Russia

The article is devoted to the study of approaches to the interpretation of traditional ornamental motifs by means of computer graphics. The article considers a synergetic approach to the design of identity and visual communications of artistic materials processing enterprises. Aspects of the state policy in the field of culture aimed at preserving and popularising cultural heritage in the practice of design using traditional ornaments are considered. Special attention is paid to the criteria for evaluating digital objects based on the formal stylistic method of analysing the art form as an internal structure of interaction in the composition of the ornament. Specific examples of elements of the identity of enterprises using the technology of artistic processing of materials are given, demonstrating the integration of traditional art and modern visualisation technologies. The research is of interest to specialists in the field of design and cultural studies dealing with the issue of preservation and development of national artistic traditions in the digital age.
