Tools and Methods of Forming the Investment Attractiveness of the Region

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of modern tools and methods used to create the investment attractiveness of Russian regions. The paper considered traditional mechanisms for increasing investment attractiveness, such as preferential taxation, special economic zones, public-private partnerships, as well as new trends in this area, including digital windows, ESG standards, predictive analytics based on big data and AI. In our opinion, the key problems include fragmented support, staff shortages, and low legal protection for investors. In conclusion, practical recommendations are given on optimizing regional investment ecosystems, including the development of clusters, individual agreements and improving the competencies of management teams.
