Consequently, the purpose of this study is to explore Pakistan's domestic political instability and its effects on its diplomacy as well as security in South Asia. Delays in political stability due to leading power rotation, military coup, and poor governance fluctuate the foreign policies of the country with many of its neighbors, including India, Afghanistan, and China. In fact, the study explores how changes in the distribution of power politics in Pakistan impact its security policies, its bilateral relations, and cooperation in the region. From the findings, it is clearly seen that political instability increases the military tensions, increases the level of extremism, and does not allow Pakistan to enter meaningful cooperation. Thus, the thesis of the study is that sustainable governance is necessary for Pakistan to build diplomatic relations and bring a positive result in the performance of security agreements in the region.
