Ses of Ukraine in War Conditions: Challenges and Risks to Sappers

Problem statement. With the arrival of the Russian aggressor in defense of Ukraine, the SES units became, only unlike conventional weapons, they used engineering and fire and rescue equipment. The number of dangers associated with ordinary daily work has increased significantly, their character has changed, and psychological loads on rescuers have increased sharply. Minging large territories of the country needed to be involved in mine, including pyrotechnic units of the SES. The purpose of the article. The purpose of the work is to identify the risks and challenges facing the Pyrotechnical Units of the SES during the survey of replaced territories and the disposal of explosive objects, to further take measures to reduce them. Methodology. Application of descriptive statistics to analyze the dynamics of changing the number of NA by years. Assessment of total losses from infrastructure destruction. Comparison of intensity of activity of SES by species. Determining the causes of risk and their consequences for the rescuers of the Pyrotechnical Divisions of the SES. Scientific novelty. The activities of the SES, related to the elimination of the emergency, the main risks for employees of pyrotechnic units of the SES and the possible consequences of their manifestation are analyzed. Awareness of these risks should be the basis in the training of specialists in this area of activity, which will help to protect numerous lives. Practical significance. Reducing the risk of rescuers of pyrotechnic units under the proposed concept. Conclusions. The development of modern technologies aimed at identifying and neutralizing GNP should be maintained at the state level and cooperate with countries that can convey practical experience in this type of activity. Involvement of financial assistance from European partners will significantly shorten the duty. Given the hazards that are related to war in general and explosive objects in particular, wide explanatory work should be carried out among the population in all possible ways. When teaching security disciplines in educational institutions, it is imperative to take the time to consider GNP and actions if they are detected. The training of specialists-pirotechnics, taking into account the development of modern types of counteraction to GNP, can significantly shorten the terms of general purification of the country from dangers.
