The abstracts represent the results of consideration of key procedural aspects of the interaction of the investigator and the forensic in the framework of pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Particular attention is paid to the legal status of the forensic as a specialist in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, as well as the procedure for its involvement in the investigative (search) actions, as well as the legal regulation of joint actions of the parties and practical approaches to the organization of effective forensic support for investigative actions. Involvement of a forensic in pre-trial investigation is an important factor that significantly influences the completeness, objectivity and legality of gathering evidence. As a specialist, he has a complex of knowledge, techniques and technical means that allow you to identify, record, seize and store traces of the crime properly, analyze the situation of the event in terms of forensic logic, make recommendations to the investigator on the tactics of conducting specific investigative (search) actions and guaranteeing.
