The article deals with the structural features of formation of foreign language communicative competence in elementary school students in the process of teaching English. It analyzes the integrated approach to teaching, focusing on the integration of various aspects of language competence, such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and communication skills. Special attention is paid to the use of game and active learning methods that promote effective language acquisition in a fun and motivating way. The importance of systematically working on language skills and creating conditions for natural use of a foreign language is described, which helps learners to develop confidence and overcome their fear of using the language. The article also emphasizes the importance of an individual approach to learning, which takes into account the peculiarities and needs of each student. The methods of creating a supportive and motivating learning environment, as well as integrating foreign language with other academic subjects for deeper understanding and practical application of the language are considered. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the effective formation of foreign language communicative competence requires a comprehensive and systematic approach that includes a variety of teaching methods, individualization and the creation of a positive learning environment. These elements contribute to the successful development of language skills and confidence in junior high school students, which in turn affects their further language progress.
