SUMMARY: Aim. The aim of this article and the conducted research is to learn about the hierarchy of values in the upbringing of early school-age children, to determine the methods of transmitting values in the opinion of parents of children of younger school age. The analysis was set in the context of diagnosing the actions taken by the family. Methods. To comprehensively present the significance of the discussed topic, the survey method was used using the survey technique. Quantitative methods of analyzing the research results. Results: After analyzing the current knowledge and the results of research on how to educate early school-age children towards values, it can be stated that values are an inseparable element of upbringing. Parents take care of the presence of values in upbringing. Their priority is to set an example with their behavior. It was found that they take care of the child's world of values, and thanks to such actions, children are on the right track to shaping their own system of values and building the right valuable attitude. Conclusion: The article is a response to the need to equip children entering social life with knowledge in the field of proper communication, building a life in accordance with themselves. Highlighting the consequences that may result from a lack of values in upbringing and the resulting lack of self-acceptance. Originality: The originality of the article is evidenced by the analysis of the literature on the subject, the results of scientific research or conclusions resulting from information collected in the form of questionnaires among parents of children of younger school age and subjecting the research results to analytical exploration in terms of axiological issues.
