This article presents the results of assessing the parameters of chronic toxicity of a multicomponent preparation for veterinary use based on soy protein hydrolysate. The toxicity of the drug was studied on white nonlinear male rats and rabbits of the Soviet Chinchilla breed of both sexes by daily intragastric administration of three studied doses of the drug for 90 days, followed by the determination of a set of functional and morphophysiological changes in organs and systems against the background of its use. The results of the chronic study indicate that there is no negative effect of the drug on the general condition of laboratory animals, body weight gain, hematological and biochemical parameters of blood. No cases of intoxication or deaths of animals of the experimental group were detected in the experiment. Autopsy did not reveal any morphological changes in organs or tissues due to long-term use of the drug. The protein hydrolysate-based drug does not have any toxic effects and can be recommended for further study.
