In this research is investigated the degree of job satisfaction of teachers, during the school year 2020-2021, as well as its relationship with factors such as gender, age, level of education (Junior High School, High School), the area where the school is located (depending on its population), the size of the school, the nature of the job, the building infrastructure and their relationship with the school leadership, colleagues and students. The research was carried out in April 2021, in the midst of the pandemic of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and involved 125 teachers of Junior High Schools and High Schools of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki. It was also investigated whether the conditions of distance learning contributed to a change in the level of job satisfaction and work-related stress of teachers. According to the research, there is a positive correlation between the teacher"s satisfaction and the nature of the job, his satisfaction from his students, the school leadership and his colleagues.
