Quality school leadership is the main pillar of school efficiency and learning improvement. The growing and more complex responsibilities imposed on school principals increase the need for leaders to receive special training for their demanding role, to emerge more effective leaders, and to produce more efficient education systems (Bush, 2009). The present study seeks to explore kindergarten teachers" perceptions of the importance of administrative training, as a qualification for the effectiveness of principals in the school unit. A sample of the present research was 143 Kindergarten teachers of Primary Education of the Prefecture of Attica. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach, with the method of review, while the questionnaire was used as the main tool of the research. The results of the research highlighted the managerial training, as a necessary qualification of the managers for their effective response to their complex task.
