This paper presents the views of the Principals regarding the distributed leadership in the school management team at the level of Principal - Deputy Principal. The attitude of the Principals for the active and effective participation of the Deputy Principals in the leadership of the school unit is studied.The views of three Principals of Secondary Schools in the prefecture of Larissa are qualitatively investigated, with semi-structured interviews. The questionnaire used was based on the Lusena - Ezera research questionnaire. The findings of the study showed that the Directors show a positive attitude towards the implementation of distributed leadership in the organization, with substantial participation of the Deputy Directors in it and a change in the institutional and legal framework for leadership initiatives by the Deputy Directors.In the context of distributed work, the principles of trust, honesty and directness in communication between stakeholders, seem to create a good working climate, to promote common goals and a common vision in the modern school.
