The current project is directly related to distance learning and gamification in the educational process. From the bibliography, it appears that developments in technology bring new data to educational institutions and distance learning. However, in the process of distance learning, obstacles are encountered not only by the trainees. In order to address the obstacles to distance learning, the elements of gamification were integrated into the educational process. Although games have been involved in people"s lives for thousands of years, only in the last few decades have they been systematically investigated and, at the same time, shown to contribute positively to the educational process. In view of the above, a survey was designed with two main research questions: a) What do teachers think of the difficulties encountered by trainees in distance learning? and b) How can gamification improve the educational process in distance education according to the views of teachers?
