The present article focuses on the exploration of the social world of foreign students of refugee or immigrant background as part of their integration into the Greek reality through the exploration of the views of their indigenous schoolmates in the secondary schools of the city of Serres. The research was carried out through the quantitative approach of filling in a questionnaire, and the resulting data were analyzed by the statistical method. The results revealed a positive climate of acceptance and respect of the foreign students. These are findings that are in total contrast to the contemporary climate of racism and xenophobia that is developing in various regions of Greece, such as Nea Vrasna and Asprovalta, and therefore, it is necessary to investigate the issue on a larger scale.
