On the occasion of the pandemic caused by COVID19, teachers were called upon to implement distance education in order to continue the educational process and communicate with their students. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the level of familiarity of secondary school teachers with new technologies, the benefits of technology and their access to them. For the needs of the present research, the quantitative methodology was followed and the questionnaire tool was used. The survey was conducted in June 2020 and the final sample was 109 teachers serving in General Gymnasiums and Lyceums of the prefectures of Aitoloakarnania, Achaia and Larissa.
