The article provides a general overview of Maurice Ravel's vocal cycle "Two Epigrams by Clément Marot". It examines the poetic text, the structure of the vocal melody, and its connection with the instrumental accompaniment. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the piano texture, the use of which contributes to a deeper understanding of the artistic content of the music. A comparative analysis of several interpretations of the above-mentioned vocal cycle is proposed (G. Soyzay - D. Baldwin, J.-C. Benoit - A. Ciccolini, G. Finley - J. Drake).
