This research, titled "A Study on the Right to Education of Children from an Islamic Perspective," is focused on the issue of the lack of attention from parents, families, and society towards the education and upbringing of children. The significance of this research lies in enlightening the minds of parents and educators, considering the religious position and the right to education and upbringing of children. The study aims to clarify and elucidate the position and importance of the child's right to education and upbringing from an Islamic perspective, based on Islamic texts and jurisprudence. In line with the research objectives, the main and subsidiary research questions are formulated and presented. To clarify the dimensions of the topic and accurately direct the research objectives, the researcher has referred to several studies previously conducted by scholars in the field. The methodology and nature of this research, as indicated by its title, is descriptive and analytical, based on an analysis and description of the topic with reference to Islamic texts (Shari'ah sources). The findings of the research indicate that Islamic law, while emphasizing the importance of children's education, has also outlined appropriate educational methods and has mandated parents and responsible authorities to provide the necessary facilities and environments for this. Furthermore, the findings show that Islamic law, along with other children's rights, recognizes the right to education as one of the primary responsibilities of parents.
