Digital health tools provide expanded access to data, offering more profound insights into patient conditions and greater control over care delivery. In contemporary practice, nursing technologies enhance patient care by integrating standardized language systems, decision-support tools, technological innovations, and improved communication pathways between patients and clinical professionals. This narrative review aims to examine the role of emerging nursing technologies in promoting patient safety. The findings suggest that health information technologies contribute to reducing medical errors, facilitating timely diagnoses, increasing the efficiency of care delivery, and strengthening communication between healthcare providers and patients. Furthermore, they serve as catalysts for research and the integration of advanced innovations aimed at improving the overall quality of healthcare.
