Aim: This study aimed to explore the difference between primary and secondary infertility in Thi-Qar, Iraq, and the associated factors among women who visited Bint Al-Huda Hospital in Thi-Qar, a city in southern Iraq; Method :A simple random sample of participants was selected. The study was conducted between November and December, 2024. Results :The collected data included demographic characteristics, socio-economic status, couple\'s age, nutrition, and other factors related to reproductive health for both partners. Statistical tests were used to analyze the data .The rates primary infertility was 57.1%, and secondary infertility was 42.8%. Conclusion :The results showed that the causes of infertility are not always attributed to women only, but both women and men contribute to infertility.
