The purpose of the study – to test and confirm the effectiveness of a practice-oriented approach to the professional training of future physical education teachers in the context of the digital transformation of education through the development of a set of practical tasks. Research methods and organization. The experimental work was conducted at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports, and Life Safety of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "YGU named after I.A. Bunin" in 2021-2023. The study involved first and second-year students - future physical education teachers. The practical component of the future educator's readiness to work in a digital educational environment was developed within the framework of studying pedagogical disciplines in the curriculum. A set of practice-oriented tasks was developed, aimed at forming specific practical skills, namely: proficiency in presentation techniques and relevant software; proficiency in using an interactive whiteboard; organizing interaction among students during online events using various tools; organizing feedback; working with digital educational resources. Research results and conclusions. The qualitative analysis of the results of the experimental work allowed for the confirmation of a positive dynamics in students' abilities to plan the educational process, work in an electronic information educational environment, and use digital technologies in their pedagogical practice. In order to further develop the practice-oriented training of future teachers, it is proposed to include the process of activating personal potential, subject-subject interaction, continuity of knowledge, skills, and competencies, which will contribute to the formation of professional competence among graduates and the acquisition of practical skills in performing pedagogical activities.
