Public health focuses on disease prevention and population health, while holistic wellness emphasizes a balanced integration of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. This paper highlights the need to combine both approaches for improved community well-being. By incorporating practices like mindfulness, nutrition, physical activity, and traditional healing systems such as Ayurveda, public health strategies can become more effective and sustainable. Using models like the Social Determinants of Health and the Six Dimensions of Wellness, this study supports the integration of holistic methods into mainstream health initiatives. The combined approach can help prevent chronic diseases, reduce healthcare costs, and promote a more resilient, health-conscious population. A collaborative, culturally sensitive framework is essential for long-term success in public health.
