Nastabeeja with a correlation to Anovulation is one of the common gynecological problem faced in daily practice. The most common cause of infertility is ovulatory disorder characterized by anovulation or by infrequent & / or irregular ovulation. Menstrual disorder like oligomenorrhoea or complete amenorrhea usually indicates ovulatory disorders.30 patients being diagnosed as primary Infertility according to inclusion & exclusion criteria where divided in to two groups of 15 each. Group A where treated with Shatavari taila matra basti Group B where treated with placebo (til taila matra basti) The entire patients were assessed clinically, pathologically & sonographically before treatment & after treatment & finally the results were analyzed statistically before treatment & at the end of three cycles. Finally the effectiveness of the trial drug was assessed 73.33% in the anovulation. During the treatment no side effect was observed.
