Significance. The incidence of pregnant women is one of the key indicators of the reproductive health of the population. Particular attention should be paid to the Central Federal District, which ranks first in the number of women of reproductive age and one of the last positions in terms of birth rates. The purpose of the study is to analyze the main trends in the incidence of pregnant women in the Central Federal District for the period 2019 – 2024/ Materials and methods. The research used methods such as statistical, analytical, study and generalization of experience. The research materials were data from Rosstat, The Unified Interagency Information and Statistical System, collections of statistical indicators of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The results of the study. In the Central Federal District in 2024, the incidence of pregnant women was 155.0 per 100 completed pregnancies, which is 2.9% higher than the average for the Russian Federation (150.6). The structure of morbidity among pregnant women in the Central Federal District does not differ significantly from the country as a whole, where the leading positions are occupied by such conditions as anemia complicating pregnancy - in 29.19 cases per 100 completed pregnancies, genitourinary tract infections during pregnancy - in 14.62 cases, endocrine diseases, nutritional disorders and metabolic disorders complicating pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period - in 13.62 cases, pre-existing diabetes mellitus - in 13.25 cases, the threat of termination of pregnancy - in 12.90 cases. In 2019-2024, in the Central Federal District as a whole, there is a decrease in the absolute number of diseases among pregnant women by 19.1%, while the morbidity of pregnant women has not changed significantly. Of the 18 subjects of the Central Federal District, 7 subjects had incidence rates higher than the district average, with the highest rates recorded in Oryol (199.2 per 100 completed pregnancies), Vladimir (192.8) and Kaluga (185.8) regions. In 2024, the lowest incidence rates among pregnant women were observed in Voronezh (80.9 per 100 completed pregnancies), Kursk (81.8) and Lipetsk (92.2) regions. Conclusions. The results of the analysis indicate the need to intensify preventive programs among women of reproductive age, pregnant women and increase the reproductive potential of the population, and determine areas for improving the organization of obstetric care in the subjects of the Central Federal District to reduce the risk of complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period and increase the birth rate of the country's population.
