Significance. Chronic non-communicable diseases are becoming an increasingly serious problem in the Russian Federation and around the world. Medical examination is a unique preventive measure that identifies and registers risk factors, including behavioral ones, that may contribute to the development of several chronic non-communicable diseases. The study and analysis of risk factors makes it possible not only to assess the health status of the population in the context of adherence to a healthy lifestyle, but also to forecast the incidence of the population at the municipal, regional and federal levels. The Purpose is to analyze the behavioral risk factors for the development of chronic noncommunicable diseases in the adult population of the Russian Federation based on the results of medical examinations of certain groups of the adult population in the period from 2021 to 2024. Materials and methods. The analysis of industry-specific statistical reporting forms No. 131/o (approved by Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 1207n dated November 10, 2020) for 2021-2024 in the Russian Federation was carried out. Content analysis, statistical (dynamic series analysis method) and analytical research methods are used. Statistical data processing was carried out using Microsoft Office Excel programs. Results. It is shown that the number of people who have undergone medical examinations is increasing every year. The highest commitment to medical examination was found in men of working age, and the lowest in men over the age of able–bodied. Over the past four years, there has been an increase in all the risk factors studied in all age and gender categories, and the increase in behavioral risk factors is higher in women than in men. Conclusion. The study and analysis of risk factors identified during medical examinations, including behavioral ones, is of scientific and practical interest and allows not only to predict trends in the development of diseases, but also to identify groups of citizens at risk of developing chronic diseases for further individual, group and population preventive work. Keywords: medical examination of certain groups of the adult population; behavioral risk factors; tobacco smoking; poor nutrition; low physical activity; risk of harmful alcohol consumption; risk of consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances without a doctor's prescription.
